Unfortunately, it is not possible to estimate and provide repair costs remotely. Errors can be more complex than the error description suggests, but they can also be just as simple. Therefore, our technician will thoroughly examine your device and only then create a detailed cost estimate listing all necessary work with labor time as well as the costs for any required replacement parts. We hope that this approach allows us to offer you the best possible support to get your device repaired as quickly as possible.

Our Nikon technicians will individually inspect your device to create a detailed cost estimate. You will then conveniently receive this cost estimate via email. (Cost estimate preparation within 1-2 business days)

The following options are available to you in the cost estimate:

Repair according to cost estimate.
(Diagnostic flat fee of €29 is waived)

After your written confirmation, we will begin the repair.

Send back unrepaired.
( Diagnostic flat fee = €29 due. Not per device, if your order includes, for example, 5 devices, a total of €29 will be charged for the entire order)

We will send your device(s) back to you unrepaired.

Professional & free disposal.
(Diagnostic flat fee of €29 is waived)

We dispose of your device(s) professionally and free of charge.

Is there still a warranty? Please include a copy of the invoice with the package. It does not matter where the devices were purchased.

We only need the defective devices. If the error cannot be localized, then of course all relevant ones.

Please send your device(s) with the respective protective covers!

Warranty:
Include the warranty card and proof of purchase (copy) in the package.  

For safety reasons, send as few attachments and accessories as possible.

Not necessary are e.g.

- Eye cup

- Battery (unless it is not original or the error probably comes from the battery)

- Memory card (unless there are images on it that show an error or the error is likely caused by the memory card) 

- Camera Strap

- Original packaging

- Filter

- Batteries (e.g., flash unit)

- Monitor protection

- Charging cable or charging station (unless these devices are defective) 

- Sun visors

Please allow 2-3 business days each for outbound and return shipping.

Our Nikon technician will determine the cause and scope of the repair. You will receive a cost estimate by email within 1-2 business days. You can then decide on the next steps.

Upon confirmation of the cost estimate, the  Repair duration depends on the type of fault and the associated repair effort, as well as the availability of required spare parts (if necessary).

If there is still a warranty, simply include a copy of the invoice with your package.

It does not matter where you purchased your devices.

A personal drop-off / pickup in Dresden, Schweizer Str. 3a is possible during opening hours without an appointment.

Ich habe den Sensor meiner Nikon D750 beim Nikon Service Point Dresden reinigen lassen. Da ich weiter weg wohne, habe ich die Kamera per Paketdienst geschickt und zurück bekommen. Alles lief professionell und perfekt ab.

Man bekommt nach dem Ausfüllen des Online-Auftrags und Bezahlung eine Email mit einer Versandmarke, die man nur ausdrucken braucht. Man wird über jeden Schritt informiert: von Empfangsbestätigung bis Rückversand.

Die Abwicklung ist perfekt und Emails werden schnell beantwortet.

Der Sensor sieht wie neu aus.

As expected, all procedures at the Nikon Service Point Dresden are carried out by trained Nikon specialists.

If it is a repair under Warranty If this is the case, the product and the associated documentation are first checked to ensure that the warranty applies.

If the repair is covered by the warranty, the product will undergo the standard repair process. After the process is completed, the product will be shipped or available for pickup. We will inform you by email about the completion and return shipment.

Paid repair:

Cost estimates created by the Nikon technician can be accepted or declined at any time.
The rejection of a cost estimate will result in your device being returned.

The acceptance of a cost estimate means that your device will go through the repair process and will be sent back or made available for pickup after the repair. We will inform you by email about the completion and return shipment.
